Citic Hotel Beijing Airport Shunyi, Shunyi

My stay at the hotel came with mixed feelings. The rooms offered an excellent view of all three runways of Beijing Capital Airport, which was a dream for airplane spotters like me. However, there was a lingering cigarette smell that persisted despite my request for a non-smoking room. The mezzanine floor I booked had some remnants of old cigarettes, making it slightly unpleasant.

The hotel is a bit outdated and needs a full renovation but has some good things going for it. The service can be improved due to some language barriers and rude behavior, especially during the night shift. The location is a bit remote but offers some nice places to walk around and find good little restaurants. The dining experience is good overall, with tasty sandwiches, but could use some improvements.
